Hello, and welcome to the Midnight Eclipse guild page!
First, a little history: We formed in March of 2006, on the Horde-side of the US-Draenor server, under the pretense of being an Australian/Late-Night US player raiding guild, raiding at 2AM server-time. We have since evolved and are not ENTIRELY a late-night based guild anymore. While we still have a lot of Aussies and late-night players, we no longer raid at 2AM. With such a wide variety of players from all over the world, we really are a 24-hour guild; we almost always have players online playing.
We currently run 25-man raids twice a week on Friday & Saturday at 6:30pm server-time for around 4 to 5 hours a night.
Our current leadership consists of Habu as the Guild Master, with Dpsr, Azzrielle, and Fredoo as Co-Leaders of the guild. They are supported by the officer corps. consisting of Mortyss, Darand, Noidea, and Zigureh.
Our Burning Crusade 25-man progress is as such: we cleared Gruul's lair, Magtheridon's Lair, Tempest Keep: The Eye, Serpentshrine Cavern, Mount Hyjal, and the Black Temple. We were also able to kill Kalecgos and Brutallus in Sunwell Plateau. For 10-man content, we completed the Zul'Aman speed run multiple times as well as Karazhan.
We were VERY successful in transforming our guild into a successful raiding team during the Burning Crusade. We play by the motto, "Quality over Quantity." We do not feel that one must raid 4 or 5 days a week in order to be successful at clearing content. We have shown this by our progression during Burning Crusade. Having an extremely low turnover, in addition to being focused, goal-driven, and success-oriented pays it's own dividends in the raiding game.
In addition, I always try and stress the importance of team accomplishments over individual accomplishments. Anyone who may be interested in joining us must have the same mindset towards playing the game. We don't accept half efforts, or people putting themselves before the team.
With the release of Wrath of the Lich King, we have successfully cleared all of the T7 raiding content, Naxxrammas, Malygos in the Eye of Eternity, and Sartharion with 3 drakes still alive for both 10 and 25 man raids. We cleared T8 content on both our 10-man raid, which included Rusted Proto-Drakes, as well as our 25-man raid. In ToC, we cleared the heroic 10-man instance with 50 attempts remaining, and are currently on Lord Jaraxxus in our 25-man heroic runs.
We are currently recruiting. We are looking for a Resto Druid as well as Ranged DPS: Warlock, Hunter, Mage, Owl, Elemental Shaman, Shadow Priest, Rogue with a gun, etc.
In closing, I will say that I have always tried to maintain the attitude that my guild is my online family. Like any family, we go through our ups and downs, but in the end we are always there for each other.
